Pac Man

I was wondering your preferences for the different incantations of this arcade classic. Mine is Super Pac Man. I think I love it when Pac Man becomes super and goes over the top of the ghosts. Vote away.

My most favorite is Ms. Pac-Man. In every format I've played it!

I chose other for Pac-Land and Pac-Mania.

That was going to be my next question. Whether Pac-Land, Pac Mania, or the kart racers for PS2 come into play. I played the Pac Man kart racer with my grandson a while back and we had a blast.

It is hard to pick a favorite. Pac Man started it all, Ms. Pac Man broke the mold allowing so many other great Pac games to come about.

Of the list it would be either Super Pac or Pac Jr.

I was not sure if you meant only arcade releases or consoles.

Yah, didn't care if it was arcade or home console only release for this poll. Pac n' Pal was a Japan-only arcade release, so probably won't get many votes, but it was released on one of the Namco plug n plays I have. Its maze is laid out like Super Pac Man, but the gameplay involves Pac Man and a friend (pal) that intermittently turns invisible, if memory serves me correctly.

I read once that Pac-Land was released to arcades in 1984 and Pac-Mania in 1987. I have never played the arcade versions outside of MAME.

As console versions go Pac-Man 2 is still fun to play.

Something I found out about this forum's polls is that you can vote even before you log in as a guest and it displays on the poll results. I noticed it seems to let the same person vote again and again as a guest so the poll results could really be slanted if a person so wished. I wonder if the forum software has a bug or what?

Only by accident, and then I realized it recorded my vote twice. I don't know how to edit the poll and remove a double vote, so it is falsely slanted at this point in time.
